ESIC Issues Interim Suspension to Dota 2 Participant SANTIAGO “TAILUNG” AGÜERO GUSTAVO

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has issued a Notice of Interrogatories and Interim Suspension to Dota 2 player Santiago “TaiLung” Agüero Gustavo in connection with an ongoing integrity investigation concerning his participation with LGD Gaming.

The investigation concerns suspected betting-related manipulation of Dota 2 matches, including reported communications and betting activity connected with LGD matches.

ESIC Issues Provisional Suspensions to Juan “Vintage” Angulo and Oswaldo “DarkMago” Herrera in Connection with Esports World Cup 2026 Integrity Investigation

The Esports Integrity Commission, the integrity partner of the Esports World Cup 2026,  has issued provisional suspensions to Juan “Vintage” Angulo and Oswaldo “DarkMago” Herrera, two participants associated with the PTime Dota 2 team, in connection with an ongoing integrity investigation arising from the Esports World Cup 2026.

With immediate effect, Vintage and DarkMago are prohibited from participating, directly or indirectly, in EWC26 and all ESIC Member events while the investigation remains ongoing.

Esports Integrity Commission welcomes Runestone as an Official Data Partner

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) and Runestone today announce a multi-year partnership naming Runestone as an Official Data Partner of ESIC. Under the partnership, Runestone will provide data and integrity monitoring support across titles and competitions within ESIC’s remit. Runestone’s monitoring identifies and flags suspicious activity and supplies evidence-based reports that may support ESIC’s integrity work, including investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and sanctions.

Public Statement on Interim Suspension of Team Clown Crew / BarrancoBar and Associated Participants

The interim measure has been imposed to protect the integrity of esports competitions while ESIC’s investigation remains active. This action does not constitute a final determination of guilt.

Tuvshintugs Nyamdorj a/k/a “Annihilation” v. Esports Integrity Commission, IGET Case No. IGETA221025, Award, 25 January 2026

This arbitration before the International Games and Esports Tribunal (IGET), seated in Singapore and governed by the IGET Rules and the International Arbitration Act 1994 (Singapore), concerned an appeal by Tuvshintugs Nyamdorj (aka “Annihilation”), a Mongolian professional Counter-Strike player, against a 12-month ineligibility sanction imposed by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC). The sanction arose from alleged breaches of the ESIC Anti-Corruption Code and Code of Conduct, including failures to report suspicious activity and conduct damaging to esports’ reputation during the ESL Pro League Season 20. The case was heard by Sole Arbitrator Leonid Shmatenko, LL.M. (ISDE).
