ESIC Venue Certification

The ESIC Certified Esports Venue Standard

for Integrity-Compliant Esports Environments

Overview

The ESIC Certified Esports Venue Standard has been established through a strategic partnership between the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) and ggCircuit in response to the growing need for integrity assurance within physical esports environments. As competitive gaming continues to expand globally across local LAN centres, university facilities, and professional venues, it is essential to provide a consistent framework that upholds the principles of fairness, security, and competitive integrity.

This certification framework brings together ESIC’s globally recognised integrity protocols with ggCircuit’s industry-leading venue management solutions—including ggLeap, ggRock software, and ggRock hardware—to ensure that certified venues meet the highest standards of operational transparency and integrity.

The ESIC Venue Certification is awarded to gaming venues that comply with a comprehensive set of requirements, including infrastructure controls, anti-cheat measures, participant identity verification, equipment and data security, and staff training. Certified venues are positioned to host officially sanctioned competitive play, local qualifiers, and professional events with the confidence of integrity compliance.

By implementing this standard, venue operators will demonstrate their commitment to protecting players, tournaments, and stakeholders from competitive misconduct and reputational risk. Certified venues become trusted locations within a global integrity-led esports network, recognised for providing a secure and fair environment for all participants.

The certification rollout will occur in multiple phases to accommodate a range of venue types and sizes. ESIC and ggCircuit will offer ongoing support and training to help qualifying venues meet and maintain the certification requirements.

Certification is valid for a fixed term and is subject to renewal, review, and potential revocation should a venue fail to uphold the principles and operational standards outlined in the ESIC Venue Certification framework.
